All American women’s most popular brand apparel H&M ranked first

According to LEK's latest report on the popularity of retailers: J. C. Penney's ranks as the second most popular department store in the United States.

The company visited 3,000 U.S. consumers and rated them based on the retailers’ affordability, prices, and concessions to loyal customers.

Penney's, which is based in Plano, is second only to Khol's in the rankings; Macy's, Dillard's and Sears are ranked third, fourth and fifth respectively.

For women's exclusive products, branded apparel H&M ranked first.

H&M America has 2,000 branches throughout the United States and will set up its first branch in North Park Center in the second half of 2011.
