A: I'm Mary Zophres, a costume designer who currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

Q: How did you get into this line?

A: When I was in college, I fell in love with a movie after some film-related courses. Then I decided to become a costume designer and start from the grassroots level. I started working as a part-time assistant for the costume design department of the “Born on Fourth of July” movie. After working on the first day, I was convinced to be a costume designer. A: Because I love movies, I also like the results of cooperation between various departments. I am very interested in helping the script to tell the story. This is my favorite part because my work contributes to the narrative of the story.

Q: When you design costumes for male and female actors, what do you think are the most important elements for inspiration?

A: Script and role. There is also a director who wants to present this character, plus the actors themselves. It's hard to choose. I must say that Natasha Normanoff and Black Spider roles played by Scarlett and the role of Wynns Paltrow. I love to design for her and I designed it for her before. She has the posture of a super model and her body is perfect. She is a great clothes hanger. Designing costumes for Robert Downey is also very exciting. Q: When you designed the costume for Iron Man 2, what gave you the most inspiration?

A: Inspiration comes from playing a role in the various actors. For example, in "Iron Man 2", they look for Scarlett to play Natasha. She has a unique personal style, so I naturally made such a design for her. Scarlett's curves are exquisite. So I want to use costume design to show her perfect posture. At the same time, in order to be consistent with the avant-garde fashion style in the movie, I also organically combine high-tech elements and fashion elements in this film. My design focuses on innovative technologies. Q: What was the inspiration for Tony Stark's and Natasha Romanoff's costume design?

No, it is all around the world. The focus of his design is tailor-made clothing, not bought in the store. That's true, Robert. Downey's costumes were all ordered for Tony Starck.
