Beijing Olympics icon appears in basic form

On August 7, the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee released the 2008 Olympic Games sports icons, a total of 35. These icons are based on kanji strokes. They combine the pictographic meanings of ancient Chinese characters such as Oracle and Jinwen with the simplified features of modern graphics, which are in line with the requirements of easy recognition, easy memory, and easy use of sports icons.
